• About Pennsylvania Voters for Animals

  Pennsylvania Voters for Animals (PAVFA) is a non partisan 501(c)(4) organization committed to advancing stronger, enforceable laws that protect animals across the Commonwealth. As part of our 2026 endorsement process, we invite all candidates for the Pennsylvania General Assembly to complete our Candidate Questionnaire. Your responses provide essential insight into your positions on key animal protection issues and help us evaluate your alignment with PAVFA’s mission to promote humane, effective, and enforceable legislation.

• We Do Not Expect Agreement on Every Issue

  We welcome thoughtful, good faith responses that reflect your priorities and legislative approach. All responses are strictly confidential and used exclusively for PAVFA’s internal endorsement evaluation.

• Submission Deadline

  All questionnaires must be submitted by: September 11, 2026

• Eligibility Criteria

  This questionnaire is intended for 2026 General Election candidates for the:

  • Pennsylvania State Senate

  • Pennsylvania State House of Representatives

  Note: This questionnaire does not apply to candidates for local, federal, or statewide executive offices.

• Endorsement Methodology

  After receiving your completed questionnaire, PAVFA will conduct a structured evaluation that includes:

  • Holistic review of your questionnaire responses.

  • Assessment of your legislative record (if applicable).

  Endorsements are finalized through a consistent, non partisan review process and will be published on PAVFA’s 2026 General Assembly Endorsements page
